PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Wolf Creek Families,

Next week we will celebrate Staff Appreciation Week at Wolf Creek.  Our PTO has a lot of things planned to make the week special for our hard-working team, but I want to take this opportunity to give them all a special shout out.

You may be aware there is a national teacher shortage. In Kansas alone, there are roughly 2,200 teaching positions unfilled. Each year the number grows.

I never take for granted the fact that we are fully staffed at WCES. Not only are we fully staffed, but we have positive, hardworking, committed staff members who are highly qualified and give their all to the profession.  I know you are aware, because I regularly hear from parents expressing their appreciation.

This next week, please join me and the PTO in lifting up this amazing group of people. They deserve more than we can do, but I know they love nothing more than hearing from you and having their work recognized.

One easy option if you are interested: our district office has also set up a form at the following link where you can easily share a note with a staff member.

Have a great weekend!

Beth Cooper, Principal
