PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Wolf Creek Families,

It’s been a productive, busy week! Our third through fifth graders completed State Assessments. Students were serious and careful as they took the tests and we were proud of their efforts. We also held two music programs. Hooray to our first and fourth graders for two wonderful performances!

It’s that time of year when there are a lot of things to look forward to.

Here are a couple of things to put on your radar:

Talent Show

We have some parents who have volunteered to run an evening talent show for us! If your child is interested, pencil in May, 15th. You can find more info at this link:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NturK_flJ1DWyeWf_8yiPvC60LoY1kuXQCKHZV4U0XE/edit?tab=t.0

They will need a few additional parent volunteers. If you are willing to help, please email the Ashursts at talentshowwolfcreek@outlook.com.

More details will be shared once we are further along in the planning.

Change For a Change Fundraiser

From April 20 through May 7, the Student Lighthouse Team will be raising money to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Each grade level will have a collection jar to gather coins and track the total amount raised.

Cystic fibrosis is a condition that causes thick mucus to build up in the body, which can affect the lungs and digestive system, making it difficult to breathe and stay healthy. To support this important cause, we encourage students to bring in coins or dollar bills to contribute.

The grade level that raises the most money will be rewarded with a pajama day, extra recess, and an ice cream party.

Thank you for your support!

I know a lot of our families experienced disruption and even damage in the storms this week. I hope all is well and I wish everyone a peaceful weekend!
