Wolf Creek Families,
Lat night we held our first ‘Readers are Leaders Night’. We merged two topics that are important to us, supporting early literacy skills and sharing our Leader in Me work with families. It was a great evening. All the families who came left with a new board game to try as a family. Thanks to all who made it a successful evening!
We feel very fortunate that the district gives us time away from our teaching duties to conference with families each semester. The conference scheduler for is now open on Skyward. Conferences will take place on March 11th and 12th.
I hope you will consider marking these conference days on your calendars as highly important. Parent participation in conferences has been strongly linked in research with positive outcomes for students in school. Because we cancel two days of learning in order to meet with families, opportunities for make-up conference times outside of those two days will be extremely limited.
Today we kicked off our day with recognition students for showing outstanding character at school. I believe we broke a Wolf Creek record with the number of students recognized this quarter! That doesn’t surprise me. We have amazing students. Congratulations to:
