This week the cold weather brought us some strange schedules and lots of inside recess, but we had a great week in spite of it!
A couple of business items and reminders:
Monday, we used our emergency notification system to inform parents about the early dismissal. With winter weather upon us this is a good time to make sure you are receiving the notifications you expect. Reach out to us if you did not get notified of the schedule change and we’ll make sure we have all the right phone numbers in all the right places.
We do go to recess if the wind chill is above 20 degrees (and the playground is clear!). Please be sure students are dressed to go out each day. We love to get them outside for play whenever possible.
A reminder that the WCES Student Lighthouse Team is accepting donations for Toys for Tots through Wednesday, December 10th. Students can bring in new toys around the $10.00 price range (such as legos, books, dolls, art supplies, etc.). Thank you to those who have already sent in toys!
It was great to have the kids back after Thanksgiving break!
