PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Wolf Creek Families,

This has been an exciting week.  Tuesday, we held our assembly honoring veterans who are members of our WCES community.  Our Cub Scout pack, Wrangler Choir, Mrs. Winkel, and the Culture Committee all worked to make this a special event for everyone.  We are grateful to our veterans for their service and for choosing to spend part of their week with us.

If you are free tonight, come on down to the Turkey Trot. Cash entry fees and collected canned goods will all go to the Spring Hill Food Pantry. It's always a good time. The trotting starts at 6:00!

The positive energy and fun will continue next week. On the afternoon of the 14th, we’ll have our Disco Dance Party for all the students as a thank you for a successful fundraiser. This event is sponsored by PTO and run with volunteers. We are so fortunate to have families here who support our school. If you have not yet signed up as a volunteer, and might be interested, take a look at the following link for more information.

It looks like we’re in for some beautiful weather. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

- Beth Cooper, Principal

Notes From the Student Lighthouse Team:

Lead with Gratitude Challenge – November 17-21st:

Next week, WCES will be celebrating our "Lead with Gratitude" Challenge! Each day, students and staff will take part in fun, themed activities to help us focus on kindness, appreciation, and the power of gratitude. We invite families to talk with their children about how they can spread thankfulness throughout the week!

Make-It-Meaningful Monday:Write a note to a WCES staff member to thank them for what they do.

Turn-It-Around Tuesday:Brighten someone’s day—give compliments to three different people!

Wig & Win Wednesday:Share your personal or grade level WIG goals and celebrate the wins!

Thankful-Heart Thursday:Show gratitude by helping someone without being asked.

Full-of-Thanks Friday:Wear the yellow school shirts and shine with gratitude for Spirit Day!

Let’s come together as a school community to lead with gratitude and make kindness contagious!
