Wolf Creek Families,
Today we held an A.L.I.C.E. drill. A.L.I.C.E. is the strategy used to protect students and staff in the case of a violent intruder in our schools.
I let the students know ahead of time that this is a practice drill. Teachers take the opportunity both before and after the drill to provide reassurance and answer questions.
We take our A.L.I.C.E. training very seriously in order to provide the safest environment for our school community. If you are interested, there is more information about ALICE is available on our district website:

It is not unusual for children to receive electronic and smart devices for the holidays. A reminder that the Spring Hill policy is that elementary students have smart devices off and in their backpacks during the school day. This includes smart watches.
We had a great first week of our new semester! For the most part, the weather really helped us through with lots of recess time. Look for your child’s second quarter report card. It should be in their backpack today.
Have a great weekend!
