Understanding the Student Support Process
Families who have concerns related to their child’s academics, behavior, or a diagnosis are encouraged to review the process that Spring Hill School District follows to provide student support. Click here for details
Transportation Changes
If you need to make a transportation change for your student, please contact the office at (913) 592-7277. All dismissal changes need to be made before 2:30 PM. Changes made after this time can result in miscommunication and students not getting home the way they should. Making changes by 2:30 PM provides plenty of time for our office staff to ensure students arrive home safely.
Mark your calendars! The Fall Book Fair will run October 6th – 10th!
Join us for Family Night on Monday, October 6th, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Every student who attends Family Night will be entered into a special drawing to win a FREE book!
Click here to view the online book fair.
If you would like to volunteer at the book fair, you can sign up here.
Field Trips
1st Grade will be visiting the pumpkin patch on Thursday, October 9th!
Please note, only legal guardians are allowed to attend field trips if the teachers have allowed guardians to attend. In order to take you child home from the field trip, written permission should be given to the office, preferably 24 hours in advance. Click here for more information regarding field trips (p. 5 of the Student Handbook). Volunteers must have their background check approved by the district to participate.
If you have any questions regarding field trips, please reach out to your student's teacher.
Early Dismissal
Due to parent teacher conferences, students will be released from school at 1:10 PM on Wednesday, October 15th. Please make sure you have transportation and child care set up for your child that afternoon. Bus riders will board the bus at 1:10 PM to be taken home.
There will be no school for students on Thursday, October 16th and Friday, October 17th. Enjoy the long weekend!
