Lunch Information for the Last Day of School

As we prepare for the last day of school on May 21, we are finalizing our cafeteria plans and need your assistance.

A note will be coming home for families to let us know whether your child will be eating a school lunch (turkey and cheese sandwich, baby carrots, sliced apples and chips) on that day. This will help us ensure we order and prepare the appropriate amount of food.

Kindly note that if a lunch is ordered for your child, it will be prepared specifically for them. Students who have ordered a lunch will still be charged, even if they choose not to take it on that day.

If a lunch is not ordered, the student will not receive a lunch.

Please respond by indicating your child’s lunch plans by Thursday, May 7.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as we wrap up the school year!.

Information for Next Year

Class Placements - As we begin planning for next school year, we want to share some important information about class placements.

Our school does not accept general teacher requests for student placement. We take great care in creating balanced classrooms that support the academic and social needs of all students.

If there is a specific concern regarding a situation between students, you may submit an email to endecottt@usd230.org. Please include the names of the students involved as well as a clear explanation of the concern. All such requests must be received by May 18th in order to be considered.

Please note that once class lists are finalized and shared in the fall, no changes will be made.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to create positive learning environments for all students.

Building Information - Our building will be closed from May 22 until August 10 for our new roof and HVAC system to be installed and for our new addition to be completed. You can contact our office staff via email or phone and we have a drop box outside the front door for any paperwork needing to be turned in.

Walk in Enrollment - This will happen in mid/late July, location TBA.

Car tags - Please keep these as you will continue to use them throughout your student's years at SHES.

Have a great summer, Colts!
