Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held at Spring Hill Elementary on Wednesday, March 11th and Thursday, March 12th.

Our conferences are student-led, and your student’s participation plays an important role in the conversation. Please plan to attend with your student.

On February 27th at 3:00 PM, the Parent/Teacher Conference Skyward On-Line Scheduler will open. Please click here to watch a short video on how to set up your child’s parent/teacher conference. If you have any problems, feel free to contact your child’s teacher. The scheduler will close March 9th at 3:00 PM.

If your student participates in Title 1 Reading or Math, our reading and math interventionist will be sharing a Signup Genius link for you to choose a time to meet with them during conferences.

Our teachers are excited to meet with you to answer any questions and give you information about how your child is doing in school.

Field Trips

Kindergarten will be visiting Wonderscope on Friday, March 6th!

Please note, only legal guardians are allowed to attend field trips if the teachers have allowed guardians to attend. In order to take you child home from the field trip, written permission should be given to the office, preferably 24 hours in advance. Click here for more information regarding field trips (p. 5 of the Student Handbook). Volunteers must have their background check approved by the district to participate.

If you have any questions regarding field trips, please reach out to your student's teacher.

Student Goals

In January, students shared the goals they are working toward at school with their families. We encourage you to keep the conversation going by asking your child about their goals and how they feel they are progressing. Your support and encouragement at home play an important role in helping students stay motivated and confident as they grow.

Mark Your Calendars - Field Day & Last Day of School

We’re excited to share that Field Day and our End-of-Year Celebration will take place together on the last day of school, Thursday, May 21st. Morning activities will include Field Day rotations, with grade-level awards built into the schedule. Parents may choose to take their child home after the morning portion or have them stay for the remainder of the day. More details will be sent closer to the event, but we wanted to give families advance notice for planning purposes.

Understanding the Student Support Process

Families who have concerns related to their child’s academics, behavior, or a diagnosis are encouraged to review the process that Spring Hill School District follows to provide student support. Click here for details.
