Our school closely monitors weather conditions throughout the day, especially when there is a potential for severe weather.

District and building staff remain in regular communication and continuously evaluate updated weather information. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.

If conditions warrant, schools are prepared to delay dismissal or hold students safely inside until it is safe to release. Should any adjustments be necessary, families will be notified promptly through our standard communication channels.

Parents always have the option to pick up their child early through normal office procedures if they feel it is necessary. However, if we are in an activate tornado warning our practice is to hold students in the designated tornado shelters until the warning has passed.  In that scenario, our staff would also be sheltering, so no staff member would be present in the front office until the warning has expired.

A big shoutout to our Kindergarten and 1st grade students for their fantastic music performances this week! Our 1st graders did an amazing job with Squirm, and our Kindergarten students brought so much fun and energy to Pajama Party. It was evident how hard they’ve been working—great job, Mustangs!

These treats were such a thoughtful gesture and helped brighten the day for our team! We are grateful for your partnership and continued support!
